NOVAIR covers the medical oxygen needs of a hospital on a cruise ship

PONANT's high polar exploration vessel Le Commandant Charcot chose NOVAIR for its medical oxygen supply. The solution installed combines an oxygen generator and a cylinder filling system. It enables Commandant Charcot to produce medical oxygen on board, from ambient air, and to maintain a reserve of oxygen cylinders. The ship is thus perfectly autonomous, with no need to worry about oxygen replenishment.

"PONANT is very proud to have innovated once again on the Le Commandant Charcot, by installing a self-contained medical oxygen production unit on a cruise ship for the very first time. This new system contributes to the safety of our operations in extreme polar environments, in compliance with regulatory requirements."
