Addressing the challenges of humanitarian response and healthcare development
Ensure a reliable and autonomous supply of medical oxygen
Producing oxygen on site makes it possible to overcome logistical dependencies and secure access to vital treatment in health facilities, even in the absence of a stable infrastructure.
Strengthen healthcare infrastructure in a sustainable way
By enabling local, continuous, and secure oxygen production, oxygen generators sustainably transform access to medical oxygen and enhance the autonomy of healthcare facilities. They provide a long-term solution to improve infrastructure performance, control costs, and ensure continuity of care, even in constrained or remote environments.
Comply with international medical standards
Our generators are certified as CE Medical Devices (Class IIB) and produce oxygen compliant with the European Pharmacopoeia monographs Oxygen 93 and Oxygen 98. NOVAIR medical air and vacuum systems are certified as CE Medical Devices Class IIA, ensuring safety and compliance with applicable standards.

Medical gas monitoring
The example of CHU-YO (Burkina Faso)
In the heart of Ouagadougou, NOVAIR has commissioned a medical oxygen production plant at the Yalgado Ouédraogo University Hospital Center (CHU-YO). With 750 beds and 19 operating rooms, this leading hospital in West Africa needed a reliable and constant supply of medical oxygen. Funded by the Government of Canada and carried out in partnership with UNICEF and the Ministry of Health of Burkina Faso, this project aims to ensure continuous access to high-quality oxygen while strengthening the autonomy of the national health system. NOVAIR designed and installed a complete solution comprising:
- The unit produces oxygen from ambient air, without the need for external deliveries.
- Production rate: up to 60 Nm³/h, capable of supplying all critical hospital services
- Guaranteed purity: ≥ 93%, compliant with the European Pharmacopoeia monograph Oxygen 93 and monograph 98
- The unit allows a mobile oxygen reserve to be built up directly from the main production system.
- Filling pressure: up to 200 bar, compatible with emergency cylinders and mobile distribution systems
- Emergency frames available at all times for off-grid operations or exceptional breakdowns
- The oxygen produced continuously supplies emergency departments, intensive care units, maternity wards, and operating rooms.
- Custom network design, integrated into the existing infrastructure.
- Pressure is regulated at each distribution point for maximum safety.
