Medical gases for animal health
NOVAIR offers solutions dedicated to veterinary services, in order to guarantee reliable and continuous management of medical gases. These devices make it possible to secure the entire circuit, from on-site production to distribution and monitoring, while integrating the specific needs related to anesthetic practices. Designed to meet the most demanding standards, our solutions ensure performance, compliance, and autonomy.
Respond to the technical, logistical, and economic challenges of veterinary facilities
Ensure autonomy and continuity of animal care
No longer having to rely on deliveries of oxygen in cylinders or bulk form allows veterinary facilities to avoid supply shortages, which are particularly critical in emergencies. On-site oxygen production ensures constant availability, which is essential for anesthesia, surgery, resuscitation, and intensive care.
Reduce daily operating costs
On-site oxygen production is a cost-effective alternative to traditional supply methods. It eliminates expenses related to regular deliveries, cylinder handling, and storage, while providing greater long-term cost visibility.
Reduce the clinic’s environmental impact
By eliminating transportation and cylinder rotations, on-site medical gas production significantly reduces the facility’s carbon footprint. This approach fully aligns with a responsible and sustainable strategy, increasingly valued by veterinary clinics committed to minimizing their environmental impact.

Medical gas monitoring
The example of the Frégis Veterinary Hospital, Gentilly
Video testimonial
The Frégis Veterinary Hospital is considered the largest and most prominent private veterinary hospital for small animals in France. It features extensive facilities (nearly 4,000 m²) and a highly comprehensive technical platform, with numerous consultation rooms and operating theatres. The hospital has trusted NOVAIR since 2018, when the first oxygen generators were installed. In 2023, during its relocation to new premises in Gentilly, the Frégis Veterinary Hospital reaffirmed its choice to produce its own medical oxygen.
Two PSA-based medical oxygen generators ensure continuous, autonomous on-site production. Their capacity is sufficient to efficiently supply the center's eight operating rooms.
An anesthesia gas scavenging system (AGSS) ensures reliable removal of gas residues in operating rooms, thereby protecting healthcare personnel.
A network of copper pipes and medical gas outlets (oxygen, air, AGSS) completes the system. The network is designed to ensure safe distribution without pressure loss to the points of use.

Safe medical oxygen for a leading veterinary center in Saint-Laurent-du-Var
To ensure a reliable supply of medical oxygen and meet the needs of its five operating theatres, the Azurvet Center chose a NOVAIR oxygen generator. This solution enables continuous on-site production, without reliance on deliveries. A 2,000 m² referral facility, Azurvet features four hospitalization areas (two kennels, a cat-friendly cattery, and an isolation unit) and treats dogs, cats, and exotic pets. The installation is complemented by an anesthetic gas scavenging system, ensuring staff safety by effectively removing residual gases from operating rooms.
- 24-hour oxygen autonomy
- Infrastructure adapted to intensive surgical activity
- Enhanced safety in anesthetic environment
A mobile, high-performance solution for a large veterinary clinic
As part of the opening of a new veterinary clinic in Michigan, the Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP) network was looking for a robust and flexible solution to ensure the oxygen supply to a large capacity establishment.
The clinic chose NOVAIR Compact-60-B generator, a mobile equipment on wheels, capable of producing up to 30 liters of oxygen per minute. It is coupled to a 60-gallon storage tank, ensuring constant gas availability, even in times of high activity.
- High flow oxygen production for large veterinary facilities
- Easy mobility thanks to a compact, wheeled design
- Secure buffer storage to handle peak consumption demands
A NOVAIR installation suitable for a state-of-the-art veterinary center
The Languedocia Veterinary Hospital, located in Montpellier, is a referral facility treating dogs, cats, and exotic pets. It features a comprehensive technical platform, including seven operating theatres dedicated to various types of surgery: orthopedics, neurosurgery, abdominal, thoracic, and general surgery.
To meet its high and continuous medical gas requirements, the Languedocia Veterinary Hospital chose to be equipped with:
- Two medical oxygen generators: Orlane 50 and Orlane 100, ensuring on-site production suitable for intensive care and surgical blocks
- A complete medical gas distribution network
- A double anesthetic gas evacuation plant (AGSS), guaranteeing the safety of personnel
- A medical compressed air treatment and production system, to power the equipment under pressure
