After seven years of construction, the new Ajaccio hospital on the Stiletto site welcomed its first patients in 2023.

The nearly 60,000 m² hospital is at the cutting edge of modernity. Among its most innovative features is a fully autonomous medical oxygen supply provided by NOVAIR oxygen generators.

Installed in six ISO containers attached to the hospital, the six Premium Plus generators supply high-purity medical oxygen (up to 99.5%) to the entire facility, which has nine operating rooms, 330 hospital beds, and a hyperbaric chamber. An on-site oxygen cylinder filling system ensures that an autonomous backup source is maintained. The facility is thus completely self-sufficient in terms of its oxygen supply.

The hospital renewed its trust in NOVAIR after the installation, 10 years ago, of a first containerized oxygen production unit at the Eugénie Annex.
