NOVAIR solutions comply with applicable medical gas standards and monographs, including:
- European Pharmacopoeia (PhEur) monographs: Oxygen 93%, Oxygen 98% (Premium Plus range), and Medical Air
- EN ISO 7396-1 standard, defining the rules for design, manufacture, testing, and operation of medical gas pipeline systems
- AFSSAPS recommendations (now ANSM) for the use of oxygen generators supplying medical gas distribution systems in healthcare facilities
The major milestones in our development
NOVAIR is an independent family business founded in 1977 by Bernard Zenou in the Paris region. With a degree in mechanical engineering, he started out with his wife Maguy Zenou in a garage, driven by a desire to innovate in the field of compressed air and medical gases. The early years were devoted to supplying compressors and vacuum pumps for industry and healthcare, before the company turned its expertise towards large-scale hospital projects.
On the eve of its 50th anniversary, NOVAIR Medical embodies the combination of industrial expertise and medical excellence, with a clear mission: to put technology at the service of life, enabling every healthcare facility to produce its medical gases with complete autonomy and safety.
