Reducing carbon footprint
NOVAIR solutions replace deliveries of oxygen cylinders and liquid oxygen tanks with local on-site production, eliminating polluting road transportation.
According to a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) conducted by Primum, part of the Grant Thornton Group, and validated by the Eco-Design Hub, a hospital of approximately 130 beds that switches from high-pressure oxygen cylinder supply to on-site production using an oxygen generator reduces its carbon footprint by 40% and its water consumption by 85%.
This is equivalent to avoiding four round trips between Paris and New York by plane each year.
