Vacuum solution
Anesthetic gas scavenging system (AGSS)
The evacuation of anesthetic gases is essential for the removal of all residual gases in operating rooms, labor/delivery rooms, and recovery rooms. These gases can be harmful to medical staff, even at low concentrations. The quality of anesthetic gas scavenging equipment is therefore critical.
- Compliant with international standards
- Double pumps allowing continuous operation
- Continuous and reliable operation
Why choose the NOVAIR anesthetic gas scavenging system?
Enhanced safety
Capable of efficiently extracting residual gases, the anesthetic gas scavenging system significantly reduces staff exposure to anesthetic agents.
All capacities
Available in several capacities (up to 2 × 250 m³/h), it integrates easily into any hospital configuration.
Smart control
The CPU Controller control system manages operation in real time, pump sequencing, and maintenance monitoring.
Advantages of the anesthetic gas scavenging system
A turnkey solution
Each unit includes duplex pumps, a central control panel, non-return valves, an isolation valve, and a filtration system, ensuring safe and automated operation.
Technology designed for reliability
Side-channel turbines ensure stable performance, with reduced maintenance requirements and long service life.

AGSS technology
Anesthetic gas scavenging plants are based on side-channel turbines that provide continuous, reliable, and quiet suction. The principle consists of drawing air and residual gases into a peripheral channel by means of a rotating impeller, creating a progressive and controlled vacuum. This contact-free internal technology ensures continuous operation, high reliability, and reduced maintenance requirements, while meeting the safety and performance demands of hospital environments.
